Katherine Kemble, MN, ARNP, FNP, PA-C. Katie is a graduate of the Primary
Care Associate Program at Stanford University and the
University of Washington School of Nursing. She recently
completed a research project funded by the U.S. Army
Medical Research and Material Command, which looked at
the effects of low to moderate exercise on fatigue in
breast cancer survivors. She specializes in symptom
management strategies and lifestyle modifications, which
may reduce the risk of cancer reoccurrence. She also
provides outreach oncology services in Okanogan County,
WA. |

Chandra Villano, ND.
Dr. Villano has an undergraduate degree in Exercise
Physiology and a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. She
has a naturopathic consulting practice in Wenatchee, WA,
teaches community preventative health education classes,
and is an adjunct faculty member at the School of
Therapeutic Touch and Body Work. She is a certified
instructor of Yoga of the Heartä-
for Cardiac and Cancer Patients. Dr. Villano has an
extensive background in nutrition, cardiopulmonary
rehabilitation, and integrative/complementary medicine.

Mary Gunkel, RN, OCN, CYT.
Mary has been an oncology nurse for 20 years and also has a teaching degree.
She currently manages an oncology program that spans four rural counties in
Eastern Washington. She is a certified Yoga teacher in the Viniyoga tradition.
Mary will discuss symptom reduction, relaxation techniques, stress management,
and restorative/therapeutic yoga. She will also teach restorative and
therapeutic yoga classes and workshops.

Tim Burnham Ph.D.
Dr. Burnham is an Associate Professor of Exercise Science at Central
Washington University. He has seven peer-reviewed publications in the
last five years that look at the interaction between physical activity
and physical and psychosocial function. Dr. Burnham will provide
opportunities for university students studying exercise science to
be part of the educational workshops via internships and independent
studies.
